A Good PatientJosh has had what we say as some "hip" problems. This has taken the family to Temple several times lately to visit specialists. On our last visit Jake decided he wanted to be the patient, mainly because playing with the paper on the examining table was so incredibly fun! Jake entertained us both, as we had to wait to see the doctor for a long time this visit. We love you Daddy, and are very sorry about your news. A man is never better looking than when he has a "hitch in his get along"! We are there for you no matter what!!!
Celebrating Being a Mom
Josh and I are blessed to have our son Jake! He is truly a gift to us, and today I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day. It was special to have him right by my side. The weekend involved a trip to McKinney to be with my Mom. I received a yearly pass to the Mayborn Museum, M&M's, and 2 dozen roses from Jake. Josh gave me a Mommy and Me musical baby class at Baylor. Both gifts were great ideas, and I look forward to the time I will spend with Jake doing them. Happy Mother's Day to Gabby, Mimi, Nana, Nanny, Grandma Abbott, Grandma McCormick, and our precious Aunt Libby!

Our visit with Nana.

Pizza with GampersLast Wednesday I took Jake to visit his Gampers in Clifton. We ate pizza, looked all around the shop, and jumped on Mimi's car :) Jake's favorite task was trying to eat Gampers desk drawer.
Yankee for a Day!Thanks to our new Long Island friends, Jake has received his first ball cap. He wore it proudly, even though he was given a hard time at the voting polls on Saturday by our local Texas boys! Thank you Cindy and Craig. He looked too cute in it, but Dad said he better not make it a habit!
